Take Hwy 17 south from Los Gatos. Exit at Bear Creek Rd overpass, go over the freeway, then left on Hwy 17 north. Exit at Alma Bridge Road, cross over the dam and park in or near the lot next to the boat launch area.
We'll go around the
reservoir and climb Soda Springs, Montevina or one of the other local
hills before completing the loop.
Rain or wet pavement
